I am a little concerned about this. I think some good points have been raised.I wonder how on-line services like this will effect the lesson teachers like all of us that are on this board. Earlmarsden: How do you collect lesson payments? — I do accept either paypal or credit card payments... Whichever my students prefer. I am also getting a lot of help from Music Teachers Helper, a software that handles my student billings and automatically send invoices to all my students. It also provides me with my own website where my students can log in and know how much they owe me

Maestro: I saw this on the Yellow Board a while back — " However, I think this will probably become the future of music lessons in general. -lefty" I think that you could be on to something with this. However I think that this will bring death to most lesson teacher jobs. It does make one wonder what the music teaching industry will look like in 10, 15, 20 years and etc

Lefty: I saw this on the Yellow Board a while back — I wasn't to impressed. I would personally be embarrassed to have put a few of those clips out there for the world to see. However, I think this will probably become the future of music lessons in general

1Kim1: Lesson Teachers and Band Directors as Judges — There is a thread about judges on the yellow board at this time, although none of the responses deals with my initial question. I would still like to know other peoples thoughts about this

Maestro: I saw this on the Yellow Board a while back — Note to Private Instructors: icompeteintexas.com does not intent to replace private instructors, but instead to arm them with powerful tools to work on the student's development as musicians. Yeah right! More blah, blah, blah. From the few vids that I watched, there sure was some not so great playing

Greely: I saw this on the Yellow Board a while back — [url] Has anyone seen this through a subscription at any of the schools you teach in?Is this a good thing or ?
