What are some of the techniques that some of you have used to help young players produce the low C on Flute?

"Lower lip out" has worked for me.  Hopefully it will work for you.

I have tried to get my flutes to do this and I reasserted this to the ones having trouble this past week and it seems to work for some but not all.

I am open to any more suggestions!

Thanks

I know this may sound fairly basic, but when I was working on learning flute it helped me to make sure that I had all keys completely down.  I think that this is a common problem for younger players especially since they are working with smaller hands.

Actually this is a really good point.  Something teachers may take for granted.

Relaxing the body works wonders for many problems on various instruments.
