Just thought I'd throw this out again....any of the Private Teachers on the board here are still interested in getting together at TMEA this Spring? Lets think about it.

I am unsure if I will be at the convention this year, but I would be interested if I do attend.
What type of place were you maybe thinking of? Restaurant, land mark, theatre, etc....
I think that if people are really interested in this, we will need to really spread the word. Not many members on this forum. Are there other forums that have lesson teachers posting other than the Yellow Board?

I think that it would be a good idea to meet people from other cities or regions.
We also would need to find a way to inform more people.
Any suggestions?
I feel one item that could be discussed is how private teachers work in tune (no pun intended) with the band directors they teach for and how different things effect students such as braces.
Kids getting braces is one thing that I have struggled with for several years and for those of us that will be at TMEA it may be a good oppurtunity to explore different methods of dealing with that issue.
Start a thread and lets talk about it.
