After recently speaking to one of my techs, he gave me a fewadditional "brands" of clarinets which, if possible, should be avoidedfor the obvious reasons: poor intonation, less than qualityworkmanship, cheap material and keys, ability for replacement parts,cost of repair vs cost of clarinet, etc...

Yes they really did didn't they. But, they were right. Just show that you have to be very careful these days.
Seems like a good list to me. What is interesting is seeing all of these on a single list. Scary. It is amazing that you don't see more of these show up at the beginning of each year in your lessons. Some of them I have never even heard of.
