Forgive my ignorance of Stomvi trumpets, but I am a little curious.
1. I never see anyone playing on one - are they any good?
2. It seems like according to their website they have only been around for a while - is that true or were they named something different before assuming the Stomvi name?
3. In your opinion are they a jazz or legit horn?

I went to college years ago with someone who swore up and down about his Stomvi. He was the only person that I have ever known that really played on one. I think that it is a lot like Saab car owners. Saab guys are peculiar people.
I knew a trumpet player years ago named Don who also swore up and down about his Stomvi. I wonder if we went to the same college. At the time I was at Sam Houston State University. About 20 years ago, where were you Greely?
